Integrative Therapy
Counselling & Psychotherapy

Integrative therapy that meets you where you are.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, depression, trauma, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can offer a space to make sense of what’s happening and find a way forward.
I provide integrative counselling and psychotherapy in Southampton, as well as online therapy across the UK, for adults seeking compassionate, evidence-informed support. Every person is different, so rather than following a single model, I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, goals and needs.
Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy, Tailored to You
Drawing from psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy, and other modalities, I work collaboratively with you to help create meaningful and lasting change.
If you’re looking for an experienced, thoughtful and approachable therapist, I’d be pleased to hear from you.

When life feels overwhelming, you don’t have to face it alone.
Integrative Therapy
Beginning therapy can feel like a significant step. You may have been thinking about it for months, or perhaps something has happened recently that has made you realise you need support.
Many people come to therapy believing they should be coping better or that they need to “fix” themselves before asking for help. In reality, therapy provides an opportunity to slow down, understand what you’re experiencing, and explore patterns that may no longer be serving you.

Compassionate counselling and psychotherapy tailored to you.
As an integrative therapist, I work with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including:
- Feeling lost and stuck
- Carrying everything alone
- Anxiety and excessive worry
- Depression and low mood
- Stress and burnout
- Trauma
- Low self-esteem
- Relationship and attachment difficult
- Life transitions
- Perfectionism and people-pleasing
- And more
Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to navigate it on your own.
Our work together is not about offering quick fixes or generic advice. Instead, therapy provides a confidential, supportive relationship where we can explore both what is happening in your life now and the experiences that may have shaped how you think, feel and relate to others.
Because I practise integratively, I can adapt therapy to suit you. Sometimes we may focus on understanding long-standing emotional patterns through a psychodynamic lens. At other times we might use practical CBT or ACT strategies to manage anxiety or difficult thoughts. If trauma is part of your story, we can work at a pace that feels safe while helping you build greater emotional stability and resilience.
Whatever brings you to therapy, my aim is to provide a warm, respectful and collaborative space where you feel heard, understood and supported.
My Integrative Approach
No two people are the same, so I don’t believe therapy should be either.
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches rather than relying on one model alone. This means our work can be adapted to your individual needs, your goals, and the challenges you’re facing.
Depending on what would be most helpful, I may draw upon:
Psychodynamic Therapy
Understanding how early experiences and relationships continue to influence the way you think, feel and relate to others today. By recognising these patterns, many people find greater freedom to make different choices.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions and behaviours. CBT offers practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, stress and unhelpful thinking patterns.
Person-Centred Therapy
Providing a compassionate, accepting and non-judgemental relationship where you can explore your experiences openly and at your own pace.
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Working safely and compassionately with the impact of trauma, recognising the importance of pacing, emotional safety and building resilience throughout the therapeutic process.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Helping you respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while moving towards a life guided by your values, rather than by fear or avoidance.
Parts Work
Sometimes different parts of ourselves seem to pull in different directions. Parts work helps us understand these internal experiences with curiosity and compassion, rather than judgement, allowing greater self-understanding and emotional balance.
Rather than fitting you into one particular approach, we’ll build a way of working together that feels collaborative, flexible and responsive to your individual needs.
Low Cost Counselling
I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to access good-quality therapy, regardless of their financial circumstances.
While private therapy isn’t always affordable for everyone, I recognise that many people are balancing rising living costs, family commitments, studying, career changes or periods of unemployment. Financial pressures shouldn’t automatically prevent someone from receiving support.
Alongside my standard therapy sessions, I aim to offer a number of reduced-fee appointments for people who may otherwise struggle to access private therapy.

Integrative Therapy FAQs
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or want to understand themselves better. If you’re wondering whether therapy might help, we can discuss this during an initial conversation.
How often will we meet?
Most clients attend weekly sessions, particularly at the beginning of therapy. Weekly appointments help build consistency and allow the therapeutic relationship to develop. We can review the frequency together as therapy progresses.
How many sessions will I need?
There isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. Some people benefit from short-term therapy focused on a specific issue, while others choose longer-term psychotherapy to explore deeper patterns and personal growth. We’ll regularly review your goals together.
Is everything I say confidential?
Confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy. What we discuss remains private, with a small number of legal and ethical exceptions that I’ll explain clearly during our first session.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes. I work with clients both in Southampton and online across the UK using secure video sessions. Online therapy offers flexibility while providing the same thoughtful and collaborative approach.
Do you offer reduced-fee sessions?
Yes. I believe therapy should be as accessible as possible. I reserve a number of reduced-fee appointments for people who may be experiencing financial difficulties. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss availability.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is an opportunity for us to explore what’s bringing you to therapy, discuss your hopes and goals, and consider whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no pressure to commit beyond that first appointment.
What issues do you work with?
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, perfectionism, people-pleasing, attachment difficulties and many other emotional challenges. If you’re unsure whether I can help, please feel free to ask.
